Angry public mostly boda boda operators have torched up a bus on Thika road.
The bus was torched after it hit a boda boda rider on the usually busy highway. The accident resulted in an argument between the bus driver and nearby boda boda riders and soon escalated to a fierce exchange which saw more boda boda riders arrive and the driver of the bus barely escaped leaving the bus behind.
With no one to vent their anger on, the riders turned on the bus and torched ii to a shell. The incident has resulted to a traffic snarl up on the road as the bus debris has to be moved first to clear way. The boda boda riders also rioted causing more havoc.
